She said my counts were looking good. Engrafting has begun! My platelets were up to 45,000 and neutrophils were 450. Red was still okay and white is kept up from the neupogen shots. I am excited because when I am over 50,000 I can have sex! The book warned that I would probably not want to but it is all I want to do.
The nurse said I am feeling sick from the chemo. It is just affecting me now 2 weeks later. My mom thinks my hair is starting to fall out again. Oh well back to being bald n beautiful. I went to the infusion center and I got ativan, zofran, magnesium and some fluids. I was seeing bright spots all around while I was in there. I tried to nap it off. It got better. The vision thing freaked me out a little. I get squigglys before I get migraines so I was hoping nothing like that would happen or that it meant something worse. The IV nurse called the APRN and she did not seem worried about it.
I hope my nausea and fatigue will go away but she said it will take a while. At least my counts are doing well.
Everything seems to irritate me lately. Maybe it is the painkillers but they never seem to have made me irritated before. All of my bones hurt so bad and I get this weird stomach pain at night. The APRN did not really seem worried about that either. I don't have to go back until next week! Hopefully they can take the hickman catheter out soon. It is a nuisance. I also don't understand why I have visiting nurses. I feel like it is a waste of time.
